I’m a big AMC fan and if you read the history of the pacer you’ll be amazed on how the car was engineered it was supposed to have a rotary engine and a rear transaxle for a 50/50ish weight distribution. All pacer passenger side door is bigger than the drivers side for passenger getting in and out of the back seat unfortunately GM scraped the rotary engine in 1975 leaving AMC to put a out dated straight six and suspension in the pacer which kill the original concept of the pacer
