Always great chatting!

More negative camber, sticky tires, and increased cooling...big moves!

Well, with both camber adjusters on the most aggressive setting I got a bit more than I bargained for on the front right. Left is perfect though. I was pleasantly surprised with how much rear camber I have. I don't think I'll put my arms on.

Yeah I wanted to be -3.5 in the front, need to adjust that one side to bring it back. The rears I've done nothing with. That's just the camber from lowering. I'm ok with that because I'd like to run 275 square next year so I'm thinking it'll help with rubbing 😅😅😅

Anyone have the EVS roll bar? And using a 4-6 point harness?

I am having an issue with the angle for the shoulder straps with my Sparco Circuit seat. The bar is pretty low compared to the openings on the seat. I am at 28 degrees which is well out of spec. I can’t move the seat down anymore either.

Comparing it to the stock seat the angle is pretty bad as well.

If you're tall, you have a double-whammy: The seat is taller, making the openings higher, and you need to move the seat as far back as possible, closer to the harness bar. Both make the angle steeper.

Have you considered attaching them to the rear bar (if the harness is long enough)? Check this pic from the Type R TC. Even though it's a completely different setup (full on welded roll cage), the idea is the same. The farther from the seat openings, the flatter the angle:

This pic shows how the angle is affected by the seat size and the distance between the seat and the harness bar.

Wanna say thank you to @MAPerformance for giving me the opportunity to put their new oil cooler to the test.

I'm looking forward to running this in the 2nd half of summer while I take the first half to gather some baseline information. I have to admit I am slightly skeptical of how beneficial it'll be given it's mounting location but at worst it can always be removed. Nonetheless, I'm always excited to try things out, especially for local companies!

Thanks! I went ahead and moved the straps to the rear bar which gave me 10 degrees. Not really my preferred choice but it works.

At what temp is everyone usually backing off the car on track?

Or I guess what temp would be considered unsafe?

As soon as im into the 240s I back off or 3/4 of the gauge. I think over 250 ECU pulls power.

Ive been well over 220 before and have not noticed power being pulled. I think I discussed this with Kefi as well, and he mentioned either 240 or 250.

I guess I should have prefaced by saying that I have not felt any discernable drop in power past 220.

I have a gauge thats tapped into my acuity hose so it reads about 10 degrees hotter when I correlate it with Hondata. Generally, I start to pull back once that gauge hits high 240s, which is when my dash temp gauge starts getting to 3/4s. At that point, I have no noticeable power loss down straights.

I have yet to trigger limp mode based on ECT as well.

I will gather some data from these next couple of driving events too.
