The great thing about Hideki Kakinuma (the engineer most responsible for the FK8) is his Japanese elocution is so perfect that even I can understand a bit of it. Don't worry, there are subtitles, which seem just right in this obvious shout-out to Initial D.

IMHO, I would have liked this interview more if they would have just had normal footage of the Kakinuma-san interview inter-spliced with footage of the Nurburgring run. I'm just not into the anime-style, personally. Drive Forever is better, I still watch it quite often, gets me every time! Such a great, well-done video.
