How fried was the OEM clutch when you took it out? Got any pictures?
Yeah I’ll take some when I get home it’s in my truck of my car. And honestly I expected to be worse but it wasn’t bad at all. The disc still looked new but it was getting there. When i took of the pressure plate man I got covered in clutch material lol. Pressure plate and flywheel surface was getting cooked you can tell it was slipping, it has a bunch of heat marks

Any update on competition clutch, any issues with lockout? Is it fine for daily driving?

To Masked,
After the runnind-in period, is the pedal still hard ?
Isn't the point of engagement too rough for city traffic ?
Thank you for answering me .

It’s stiff at first but once you put miles into it, it gets way softer feels stock

Folks who have installed the kit already, did you guys use the supplied Pilot Bearing?

There's many posts about the CTR Retrofit option that say that this Civic transmission doesn't need to add it.

Mine is still going strong! There's no negative about that clutch

Im not getting any lockouts anymore! I love this clutch
What issues were you having with lockouts? I’m currently having the same issue after installing a stage 3 competition clutch

To fix the lockouts you will need to upgrade the CMC if you have an upgraded clutch. I personally don't redline my car enough to experience lockouts, I usually shift before the lockouts happen near redline. There's two options available, the Sirimoto CMC version 2 or the KzCMC. You can find both by googling it. But yeah you will need to spend a bit more money to fix this issue.
