Hmm good to know. I had my motors since 2020 I believe. Have to go back and check. I have the GPS antenna as well for the pro. I'll probably install the kit next year.
Depending on when mine ships, I might be doing the same :(.

I have the Dakota Digital speedometer calibration unit with multiple speed outputs. I was planning to pull a wire from there to the controller and calibrate speed using pulses per mile. The Active Pro will count the pulses over a measured mile. Will use the tripometer reset to zero for this activity. If this works, I won't need the GPS kit.

Cool I'm not aware of the Dakota stuff I'll be sure to check it out. I'm not really tracking my car, I just like tech lol. I also may have to send out my coils for rebuild as well so around that time I'll probably do the install.

Let's stay in touch to bounce setup off each other. I'll be looking for a street tune during the off-season and then optimize for track conditions. With 10 presets, we have a lot of flexibility.

I'm late to post about this, but I installed the EFDC active pro with the Tein flex Z coilovers for the FK7 hatchback a couple years ago. I recorded some video footage at the time with the intention of posting/sharing my install experience, but still haven't gotten around to it.

I just wanted to chime in before any holes are drilled to say that at least for the hatchback, it was not necessary to drill new holes for the rear install. With the length of cable that comes with the EDFC kit, you can make use of an existing hole/grommet at the rear wall of car, entering into the spare tire compartment. I'm not certain the Si is exactly the same, but I'm guessing it should have the same. Some people might feel more comfortable having the cables enter the trunk area closer to the strut location, but for those reluctant to drill new holes into their chassis, this rear hole is an option. I'm not sure how much this photo will help, but I'll attach here.

This is fantastic news. Please shoot some details over of what you did. If I can use some of it to update my guide I'll give you credit of course. I'm not making money off any of this as it's for anyone to use. I can also send you what I have in a PowerPoint file format to update with a mixture of your content for a more complete guide. You can start a conversation with me for any private communications. Again, I'm just trying to put a complete guide together since it's only a small effort for me alongside the installation and setup. Collaboration could help promote this package if it proves to be worth doing. So far, it feels that way for me.

I drilled a hole on passenger side rear on my Si and put an oem grommet.

Driver side I ran it through the grommet for the fuel door actuator.

Just got my alignment. Will hang with these settings for a bit and see where I want to go next. Haven't driven it yet. They are correcting the steering wheel a little bit.

$160. Cheap enough to do it again after installing some rear camber adjusters to even out the rear.

Here is my complete record of the alignment if anyone cares. I mostly wanted to post it so I could get back to what I have for later changes. I'll order rear camber adjusters soon and correct the rear so they are even. Didn't know it was out so much from one another. I have an autocross event this Sunday on a fairly fast and choppy course. This will be a good test for this alignment and see how much the coilovers are helping over what I had. Felt noticeably better the day after I installed them with times that are much quicker than before. I expect the alignment will make a difference as well. The feel on the highway this morning was smooth with predictable steering. Can't wait to really push the car.

I'll monitor the tread temperatures across the width of the front tires with my needle probe style temp gauge and adjust pressure on my Falken 615's to balance that out. I usually run 30psi all around for the best temperature distribution. With all the extra camber up front, I might have to adjust pressure a bit more.

Do you have an ALK kit installed? Camber adjustable ball joints?
