Just wanted to thank you again for your help getting set up with Motec and recommendation to purchase the FK8 kit and tune with Salasko Racing.

The deceleration ping is now gone and Ben credits finding the solution working with you and your car. :headbang:

Ran into some limitations of the stock fuel system with just FBO/stock turbo. (Ben said he will dial things back to address)

Very interested in the fueling upgrades you are pursuing.

Happy New Year and keep up the great work Taylor! :)

Thanks for the kind words! Happy New years to you as well!

My car is completely quiet now too, I just thought it was going to be "one of those things" we couldnt do anything about after the 2nd time of meeting up!!

Port injection can be a cheap(er) way to get the fuel you need. Ive got a list of parts and fittings you need for the install(should have done a better job of documenting). Ill send it your way if you're thinking about venturing down that road. Give you the ability to run e85 on track, keeping your temps even lower💪

Started on my custom turbo kit today. I removed most of the full race kit in preparation for my testing. Needless to say it's all going very good. I have a band saw and a home depot belt sander so I can only do so much. I think the wastehates going to be finished once the entry angle is better.

Last "major" part to this swap would be a new bov since the bov was built in the efr turbo. Im just waiting to hear back from the fab shop when to get the car towed over there.

Nothing new to report on the turbo kit, patiently waiting in line..

While im waiting i decided to install my prl clutch line and do a CDV delete. I followed a YouTube video but did it all on the car in about 15 minutes. I drilled a hole to slide a piece of small weld tungsten up there to get the spring clip loose, was actually very easy. I then used a sheet metal screw to use to screw into the cdv and kinda pulled it out with some mini needle nose pliars.

The not so easy part was how tight the oem clutch line were, couldn't believe it. Had to doulbe wrench it and try and keep the bracket from bending with a pry bar.. wasnt expecting that at all.

Bled with oem brake fluid. I bought some motul, but didnt get around too changing it.

The first images are starting to roll in!

Downpipe and the wastegate are finished!

Just have to do the dump side of the wastegate back into the downpipe.

Over Rev fab here in wilmington is doing all the work.. its looking so good from here 😅 can't wait to see it in person.

Are the stock injectors good for pump e85? Like can the port injectors compensate enough ?

Yeah I run stock fuel system as much as I can. Keep injector duty around 80% then start putting port injection for the rest. It needs more port injection down low to keep the pump from pegging 100. But I had 1700cc worth of fuel last dyno time, now I have 2650 worth of fuel per hole.. not going to run out any time soon

Picked up my turbo setup from the shop that my car is at so i can wrap it when i have time this week. Told them ill be by Friday to get the car.

pretty happy with the way this turned out.. it was a little challenging for them but nothing a little brain power couldn't figure out.

I cant wait to hear this turbo on 30 psi
