This thing with a built motor and upgraded high pressure fueling. Dude nasty!
you forgot a longer gear set!

Motor is soon, Xdi going on that too. Maybe their 2100s.. just don't know yet.

Quite a few things i left out lol.

I would go with the 2000’s or whatever size they actually are. Try to get as much fuel through the direct injection system as possible, it would probably make it behave easier too.

XDI over 4piston hpfp? And why.

4p is selling xdi stuff

1600 for the injectors is a lot considering i can get 2600 ID and they are like 3300s at FK8 Pressure. CCs per $.

Deposit has been paid for a @4piston CNC cylinder head with all the bells and whistles. I was flip flopping on a ported head or not given the data wasn't very well known. I also wasn't about to butcher my stock head with no real knowledge of porting heads. Luke cleared the air with his recent post about the head and I decided to pick it up. As usual, I will be doing a close comparison in boost levels to show the gains from the new combo.

Are the CRZ tie rods more sturdy than oem or are they just allowing for different sizing/fitment?

Got the cylinder head and was not disappointed! (Copied from my FB post) 4p CNC Cylinder head First impressions are good..2 day shipping, quick turnaround, good packaging, clean, deck surface looks 10x better than stock cut. 4p even took the time/effort to line all of the retainers in the same orientation. That little attention to detail gets extra credit points with me..can't wait to zing this thing to 8000+

Are the CRZ tie rods more sturdy than oem or are they just allowing for different sizing/fitment?
civic x and type r are too long with SI spindles and Type r Inners tie rods. had to use a really short tie rod end and extenders to make up the difference.. was walking through the junk yard and noticed CRZ are really short

ive revved them to 8000 with no apparent issues but we are using port injection too.. taking some load off of it. i dont have any data over that rpm. A Xdi will seemingly be ok for 8k+

Got the block today! Golden Eagle sleeve..stock bore but they fit my Pistons to the block so all I've got to do is give it a good wash and start the assembly process.

I also debured some questionable edges on the block inside the engine. Just noticed a few burs left over from the surfacing Honda did on the timing cover side.

Machining oil is all over the block so a good degreaser wash and a long brush is needed to really clean the oil galleys.

A quick air dry is needed and a good coat of wd40 all around the iron bits. I eventually went over them with oil.

Youll notice two piston rings in the cylinder closest to us. Was measuring the rings out of the box and they come to 11 and 22 thousands.
