Wondering if someone has had any issues similar to what I'very been experiencing lately. The red 10a fuse for my taillights & side marker keeps blowing. I'd change the fuse and that fuse after driving would blow again. Now the fuse just goes out as soon as I turn the lights on.
I've taken it to several people and to the dealer and no one can figure out what the issue is. There's only a few things I can think of that can be the cause of the problem;
1.) LED bulbs - I changed the side markers back to the factory to see if that could be the cause but still blows the fuse. I had changed the rear turn signals to led with grounded resistors and the break light is led as well but those are both on separate fuses and still work ok.
2.) Ktuner -issues happened few weeks after tuning the car but if it was this then I'm thinking it should've had the issues immediately after installing. I've tried flashing the ecu back to factory settings but fuse still burns out.
3.) Accident - couple months prior my car was rear ended and had to replace the whole rear taillight assemblies. Dealer said it was aftermarket and that they suggested that was the issue. The place that repaired it showed me the reciepts that he got the replacement parts from the very same dealer that said it was not a "honda" part. I had the wires checked in the trunk to see if there was any loose or exposed wiring and didn't see anything.
Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions of how to get it fixed.
