Tablet Style Head Units

Any experience with (incredibly) cheap tablet style ("Tesla" style) head units on eBay? There's no way this can be anything but junk, right? It's hard to parse the specs from the fractured English in the listings, but only 1GB RAM? The sound quality must be completely sketch. Just wondering if anyone has firsthand knowledge.
