Newbie ? here ....

21' Type R

Installing Swift Springs this week and wondering if the following wheel + tire setup will rub?

- Swift Springs
- Advan TC4 18x9.5 +38
- Michelling PS4S 265/35/18

If anyone here has this setup, I will greatly appreciate teh real life feedabck as daily drive my car in Florida highways majority of times.

Thank you everyone
You’ll probably need to add some camber, remove front guide pin, and bend side marker tab. I could be wrong though.

I have this exact setup. You will rub on the front fender tabs ONLY on large dips or potholes. You will not rub with normal driving. My camber specs are -1.5F/-2.5R.

I am running Swift Spec-R springs, Work ZR-10 18x9.5 +38 wheels and 265/35/18 Toyo R888R tires and rub really bad in the front and rear. Could be the tires which I read run wide. I only put those on as I found a deal on them and am ok getting rid of them to a friend who tracks. I am going to try one size down Indy Firehawk 255/35/18 tires which I read run narrower as well and hopefully won't rub and have to trim the rear fender and bend the metal tab at the front?

Any input would be great before I pull the trigger on the 255/35 Firehawk tires.

Prolly its just the ET38, wouldn't rub if its ET45 with fat 265/35R18 R888R! Adding some camber front & rear would help? Nice setup by the way!

Thanks a lot! Oh for sure it's the ET38, if I had ET45 could have probably gotten away with that rubber. To let you know what the outcome was as I really don't want to rub in any situations I changed the tires to the Firehawks 255/35/R18 and pleased to report ZERO RUBBING! Doens't look as cool as they aren't as fat and created a bit of a wheel gap as well but I'll take that over the rubbing.

Those R888R were crazy fat through, I'm wondering if I could have even done 265 Firehawks but didn't want to risk it and be stuck with still some rubbing.

You should be able to run 255/35/19 with th3 19" Titans. I had that setup with Spoon springs a while back and never rubbed. Also Spoon USA's type R back during that time ran those wheels with 265/30/19 - if you care more about width than sidewall.
