Swapping to Smoked Side Markers

As appealing as the clear ones are, I just favor the smoked ones ever since I saw the earlier photos of the hatch.

I agree! I got my hands on some samples and will be installing these once I figure out where the single red wire goes!

If I'm not mistaken, that red wire goes to the positive of the DRL to allow them to light up white and then amber when necessary.

Yes I'd go smoked on a black car. Too much contrast with clear.

Just installed a set of smoked markers off of eBay on my MSM. Love the look!

you can go smoked. but the clear may contrast better. if your entire trim is black then you should go smoke. look at the rest of the car and figure out which color would contrast/fit better.
