any updates for the 2020+ guys?
Yup I just installed it on my 2021, works!

Did you buy this? looks like this would eliminate automatic A/C functionality. I'd rather have auto climate with the lag than manual, personally.
Yup it has auto. all functions work. love it, no more lag and I can see the AC on/off without the infotainment center.

When I read the thread I thought it was too good to be true. I don’t like the finish when the top is piano and the bottom isn’t. And I don’t like losing the dual zone climate control - do you not have GFs or wives?

I’ll wait until someone figures out a 2019-2021 retrofit.

Exactly! My wife would not be happy if I got rid of the dual climate.

This would be best. All i want is fan control outside the screen.

Wait, I think I found it - is it this one?

Yup!
Everything looks like it should work, but I'll update you once I get it installed.

Just gotta find an infotainment unit with buttons/volume knob to swap out my old touchscreen one with and then I can die happy. The issue I'm running into there is finding one that also supports my sideview camera/Honda sensing package. I dont really care about the GPS function since mine didnt come with it. I know this is an entirely different issue, but I figure I'd tell ya what I'm up to xD

So, I got it and for some reason it didn't come with the passenger airbag signal at the bottom, but that was a super simple swap since the one on my unit is only attached by two Philips screws. After I swapped it, I just popped it in and good news, all of my original functions still work, but the fan speed controls on the new unit aren't doing anything :(

I'm assuming it's because my infotainment system doesn't have the software to recognize the new buttons, so I might have to swap my radio with a newer model if that's the case...

If anyone knows any better, please chime in ?

Someone attempted this in 2019, and it didn't work. No work around was found, at that time.

If I can find a newer radio at an affordable price that was paired with the same climate controls, I'll give it a shot.

Hello, I have a question: does anybody knows how to disassembly this panel. The idea is to paint front side in black piano.

This current view of my Honda interior:

I want to paint the element marked with crosses (panel is for RHD but it is ok to show the idea).

Finally pulled the trigger and got the jdm style climate control unit. I hated having to push that stupid climate button to load the screen on the head unit. This is so much better i love having the actual screen instead. I did need to take the passenger airbag sensor off my old unit and put it on new one .
