@KTuner ... you'd figure I'd know what I'm doing by now. ;)

So... I'm sitting in my car, device running.

1.2 flashes blue rapidly. Connect to laptop and get popup screen to lock to said ECU. Click check box and yes. Device keeps looping... and that pop up box keep reappearing. Light goes to rapid green flashing... software says device is disconnected. I've been through this several times now and am creeped out that it has a intermittent connection that'll make any flashes fail. Your thoughts?

Eh... disregard. I had to unplug and replug it in on a few iterations of the locking and saving the factory tune... but it looks like it’s working. (shrug) 1s and 0s.... they’ll get you every time.

Interesting ... I noticed that as well when I first got my 1.2 I later realized that my obd2 port was pushed in and that's why I was loosing connection when flashing

Would OBD II cable extension help making sure the V1.2 dongle is plugged properly to the OBD II socket?

I experienced this issue and had problems locking KTuner to my ECU because the dongle wasn't properly plugged to OBD II.
