2018 Si sedan.
84K miles
So Ive noticed a recent clunk when coming to a complete stop. It feels like it could be the calipers because upon releasing the brake pedal you can hear the piston audibly release. And the clunk/jolt only happens at slow speeds or stop signs or traffic. Higher speeds sudden stops don’t seems to be an issue. Just at slow speeds 18mph or less and definitely a lot more when stopping to reverse. I thought maybe it could be the control arms? Like loose bolts. Either on the calipers or the control arms. I checked the upper strut nuts which they seem to be tight. But this only happens going forward. I’ve tried to recreate it in reverse at slow speed to no avail. I thought maybe someone might have had this same issue or similar and fixed it. I’ll be checking it out this weekend.
