Was thinking about going with some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. Was wondering if these would be a good choice since weather in orange county, California is never that cold. Or are these strictly for warm weather?

You are fine. Both my wife and I run 200tw UHP tires. Just don’t speed around when it rains.

PS 4S is fine in the wet or dry in a warmer climate just don't visit Tahoe in the winter - check TireRack ratings.

I'm looking at these PS4S as well. What's the consensus on 245/45-18 on stock 18x8 2020 Si wheels?

I've heard nothing but good things about the tire. I'm hoping the same with the stock size set up as well.

Personally experienced hydroplaning with 200tw tires in a pretty heavy downpour last year. Couldn’t go faster than 55mph on the highway.

Depends on the tread pattern. I used to have Azenis RT215s and was always wary of traction when it got wet. Which tires were yours?

245/40 would be a better fit, both for less speedometer error and no change in clearance.

This was on the 615K+ This tread pattern has no continuous groove from side to side which I can only guess is there to help expel water out quickly

Yeah, those are just marginally better in wet weather than my RT215s were. 200-treadwear tires with deeper grooves are available, of course, but not as many of them since that slice of the market wants more dry grip for race/autox days.

When it comes time to replace my stock Goodyear tires on the Si wheels I’m thinking about going with Firehawk Indy 500. With 340 treadwear rating I think they should offer a good mix of grip and durability for daily driving year round.

I'll go with Vredestein use them on my Odyssey, took it to Lake Tahoe, snowstorm and all the way to Vegas (120F outside temp) and had no issues

I'd probably get those, too. Should be able to get a decent deal at the base tire shop.
