was going to ask how the summer tires would do in the rain. took a drive in the rain today and seemed to hydroplane in the smallest of puddles. weather i did or not i don't know, but when i got home i changed out to all weathers before my trip to flagstaff az.

They actually do better on wet roads than A/S, and have better grip on dry roads. The drawback is they are more expensive and have in a lot of cases half tread life of A/S. They don't do well in cold weather (freezing) and icy roads

The summer tires have been very good in the rain for me.

I am running PS4S in Seattle and its been rainy and cold/30-45 degrees and way better traction then Goodyear Sports. Car rides stiffer and handles a lot better. Tires are warm to touch after a good drive.

Heard lots of good things about this tire, do you daily them? i am considering using them just to daily in the summer and swap winters when its cold.

I had a 18 Si I commuted in for 2 years/35k and the Goodyear sports were sketchy at best. Couldn’t push the car hard, hydroplaned, and would lose traction all day in second and even 3rd gear at times. If it was forecasted to snow I would run Blizzaks until snow threat was gone.

I bought a 20 Si and swapped out to PS4S at 20 miles. Today it’s 35-40 in Seattle and a chance of wet snow and on my way home I pushed the car hard in all the same spots/turns and never lost traction. Best upgrade for the $$$ imho. I sold the Goodyear’s for $500 and paid $900 for 4S

My Si is strictly a commuter car and sees 60 miles a day.

Just as a TPS note, my indicator has not come on whilst swapping the tires, even though they are different diameters. Stock rims with the summers, after market rims with 22 45 18's maybe a 1/2 inch difference.

I believe all the Honda TPS looks for is equal pressure in the tires so swapping has never caused me any issues either as long as all tires are the same pressure.

thank you that's why i posted, as to give further evidence that it is equal tire pressure.
