Hi everyone,

I am probably going to be answering my own question here but I needed help in deciding what to do with my headlights.

Judging by how the headlights look like I am guessing that the clear coat is fading away and causing the fading loom.

I know there several headlight restoration kits which one you recommend that I use?

I learned that using Mother’s aluminum polish works well with dull headlamps. A rubbing compound will also work well. Just make sure that you apply wax afterwards.

I did the same thing on an old eclipse I had.

Wet sand 1000-2000-3000. Then use McGuires 205 polish with a da or drill with a polish head on it.

Looks brand new and has lasted for 6 months now
