Stripped strut mount

I stripped the holes in the rear strut mount any one have an suggestions on how I can fix them?

You will need to buy a tap for that specific diameter. Measure the diameter of the bolt. Amazon sells some taps individually. You will need to make sure you have the socket or tap wrench to turn the tap as well.

Lastly, you will need to tap it from the direction that you will insert the bolt (ie. not from the top).

Are you even able to get to the top of the struts through the trunk?

I do not know the setup of the rear shock absorber mount. On some cars, like the STi, this is accessible from the top, and some owners attach a rear brace bar.

The following is the diagram of the rear damper configuration on a 10th Gen Civic. The rear damper mounting base is held with two flange bolts (8mm x 32mm). The mounting base is not threaded. The threads are on the body of the vehicle.
