Why does nobody use JL...

Maybe, it's been a while since I was all about the audio but I still can't imagine JL equipment disappointing...Oh well. Because it's over priced... there's a lot better for the money in both sq and spl.
It pops right up with a trim toolHow difficult is it to change out that front middle speaker? Remove the dash difficult or does a cover just pop off or something?
Thanks for the tips otherwise... I'd love to get a bit more volume and quality as well, but I'm intimidated by the process of changing some stuff out.
Did you have to do any modification to get your remote knob to fit in the blank plastic spot? Mine is way to big and I really don't want to have to take the casing off if I can avoid itI have a 10" powered sub under my seat and pretty happy with it
I had to modify both the Honda blanking plate and the PCB that the switch was soldered to.Did you have to do any modification to get your remote knob to fit in the blank plastic spot? Mine is way to big and I really don't want to have to take the casing off if I can avoid it

Do you think there is room for an underseat sub that is 1 5/8th inch longer and 7/16th inch taller?I have a 10" powered sub under my seat and pretty happy with it
You should be able to go with a sub 7/16" taller. Not sure about the 1-5/8" longer length. You may have to measure the frame under the seat to be sure. Also, most amps have the wiring contacts on the short side, so that is another thing to look out for.Do you think there is room for an underseat sub that is 1 5/8th inch longer and 7/16th inch taller?
