Some dude on YouTube installed a Type R clutch with a machine flywheel on his SI and said it works flawlessly like a daily driver no chatter FYI

I have requested info from The Smoking Tire about and will post any details I receive regarding the swap. This makes more sense than doing all the other swaps I've seen on this forum.

It's called New Age performance I actually missed that when watching the video the first time.

Im sure there are some like me who do not know and thats what the forum is about. So what do you know?
Is it the stock flywheel or the R flywheel?
What Machining needs to be done to fit or work?
The name of the shop that did the work on the flywheel so i can send mine in?
Is this a clutch pack all done and ready for purchase from a shop?
Can you plz plug some info since you know? Thx.

Contact him for all the info. He sells the kit, and has already shipped out probably a hundred or more. You pay a core charge, along with the price of the type R clutch and flywheel, which is refunded after you send in your flywheel.

Has anybody been able to get ahold of him recently? I sent him a message on Facebook and haven’t gotten a response

Emans type r retrofit clutch is incredible. Wait list is long and he's currently working on implementing a website to streamline things.

Long wait list since it has gained a ton of popularity. I have about 800 miles on mine. It’s amazing. Slightly heavier pedal feel than stock. No chatter. Grabs like crazy. No rev hang. Best clutch/flywheel option available currently imo.

You might as well pick up his modified master cylinder for more access to fluid. Stock master cylinder limits you to a bit of fluid = weak engaging
