If engine pops, id like to swap to an accord 2.0T engine.
Unfortunately noone is releasing info to this swap. And I have many questions about it

I’m planning to get the LB15B7 built short block from TSP and Si transmission swap. That might help you from blowing up your motor since I’m also going that power route. Best of luck!

I'm aware of this option and lots thoughts/decisions.

If I go built L15, atleast I will pass emission, but I better make over 400 or 500. We still lacking aftermarket parts.

Now going accord 2.0T swap, I can expect to make near 500 with the stock engine. Lots of parts available since its a K engine. Passing emission is questionable.

The built block can handle up to 600whp or yeah the other option is to get the crate K20c1 engine. It really just depends on your budget. I not sure if you can reuse your bolt ons or 2860r with the type R engine.

The ctr crate engines are too expensive.
The accord 2.0T engines are perfect. Ebay sells em for around $3k shipped. Plus word is that our factory ecu can run the accord engine.

The 2860R turbo wont bolt on to the k engine. There is an ctr mhi turbo available though. Also, PRL came out with a p700 turbo and hopefully thats reliable. Their p600 had problems.

The Accord 2.0t has the same engine as the Type R. It just really depends on your budget since I was also planning to go the Accord engine route but I got quotes for around 15k, parts and labor plus not including the bolt ons to make it to 500whp.

Same here! I was told 12k total for parts and labor. Ill just do it myself to save from the labor.
I just need to know the wiring.
