I'm wondering if anyone has setup their civic with rims at stock height. I don't want to lower my car but I'm trying to find out how 215/50r17s would look like at stock height or 235/45r18s

Please no "just lower it" comments. I understand this is the flavor everyone likes but I'm trying to see what other options look like first.

I appreciate you guys.

Just in case I have a 2016 Civic Sedan LX (truly in need of rims)

235/40/18 is the stock size for the Si. If you go to 234/45/18 you'll gain almost 12mm in height and 2 mph on your speedometer.

Here's a comparison of your LX stock size to the Si stock size. Notice that they are within 0.4% of the same diameter. With almost no change to your speedometer reading.

The 215/50/17 would be a better fit with a 1mm change in height and 0.6% change in diameter.

To see what your car would look like, just look at the Si for the 18inch wheels, and the EX for the 17inch wheels.

But the SI stock height is a little bit lower than the LX-Touring models right?

Yes, by 4 mm due to the two stage suspension.

Stock height race set-up. Car had only 600 miles on it before we started testing with it.

This is stock height on 17 Touring with 235/40/18. I too have zero interest in lowering as I drive through some nasty winters with deep snow. It rides quite well and handles very good with this setup.

Wow, all these set-ups look good. The touring doesn't have the same height as the LX right? I'm imagining the suspensions are different set-ups because of the difference in motors. 2.0 vs 1.5T
