So, I like the tires that came from the factory. I would like stickier tires and curious if there are any good price to performance tires. If there are, can I put 245/40r/18's on the car without the tpms going odd? If so, please let me know. I would like some stickier tires for the corners.

I had a set of 245/40R18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 installed before I left the dealership. No issues with TPMS. I never drove the car with the OEM all seasons but I know the Firehawk Indy 500 is a great tire.

Check out Yokohama and Nitto. They make some pretty sticky tires. They also make track tires.

Had P Zero's stock on the GT and those tires sucked. Maybe the track version is better.

How are the Firehawk Indy's? Are the loud tires? Do they have more grip than the stock oem tires?

If you are looking for reasonable price look at Nitto Neo Gen's or Yokohama S Drive's.

all i can say is avoid pirelli tires like the plague. they wear very fast for the level of performance you get and they are also noisy.

Do they need to be all season? Any snow or ice? How cold does it get where you are? If you want something stickier but can't run them year round, consider getting a second set of wheels. Run the stock tires during colder months and grippy tires the rest of the year. Anything labeled as a summer tire shouldn't be run below freezing temps.

Yes, +100 to this.

If you have the space to stack a set of wheels, this is the way to go. My dad used to do the same thing years ago.
