took her into Manhattan late last night. Ended up loosing my skid plate and some underbody aero, but I got some killer shots so it's ok.

Can't wait to see what you're making on dyno. Off key what HIDs did you buy? Want to pull the trigger on those soon.

Should probably post these here too. Got the right coupler for my TIP and gave it a paint job. Also a PRL intercooler waiting to be stenciled, 27won w1 turbo, and a flex fuel kit. Planning to do the intercooler, turbo, and tip all in one go next week and will probably do the flex fuel this week and give that a run

Installed the flex fuel kit and put some e85 into the tank today for a 25% blend. Ran it with the starter 21psi k tune base map. Without ethanol, I forgot how bad the base maps were compared to OTS tunes, but it did feel good with ethanol. Kept all the drop downs at factory to not blow anything. Turbo, inlet pipe, and intercooler going on Monday, but unfortunately will be running a grandpa tune post install until it’s pro tuned so I’m expecting slower than normal until then

e85 is a 45 minute drive from me so I ordered some VP racing jugs and planning to keep ~30 gallons in the garage and blending it at home

Be careful with how much ethanol you store and for how long. It will soak up water from the air unless sealed extremely well.

the jugs I got are supposed to be pretty good at being air tight. Also I read that having a carpet underneath the jugs will help keep moisture away. I think I’ll be doing monthly refills, so won’t be too too long they're being stored

Did the intercooler, charge pipes, w1, and 27won inlet today.

Took 12 hours to do it all with a friend, which isn’t awful considering everything was a pain in the ass to install LOL. Would’ve been shorter if we didn’t rip a coolant line with a vice grip at the edge of the nipple. Ended up spewing coolant all over me, the ground, and the engine bay. Replaced it with a line from autozone.

Also, decided I’m going to go with a prl race maf intake to get the last bit of power on the dyno I can get. Will be getting the SRI unless iat2 becomes ridiculously high. In that case, I’ll get the cold air conversion. Don’t want to hydro lock my car, or deal with taking the bumper off again. I’m getting +20-30° over ambient for iat1 on my current intake, which is similar to the 27won as it draws air from lower down. I’m expecting warmer iat1 without an air box, but hoping the new inter cooler can help that out.

Switched over to the PRL race SRI today and it sounds wayyyy better than the takeda one did with the air box. Here’s a couple drive bys. Induction noise is very satisfying. Exhaust note to me is perfect, it just sounds like clean performance and no raspy rice even with a catless downpipe.

Ended up having to reschedule a tune date. Had a boost leak from snapping a bolt in the cold charge pipe, and when checking seals, I stripped out the turbo inlet pipe EVAP holes. New charge pipe arrived today, and I’ll be tapping new holes into the inlet pipe. Going to shoot 25psi through a compressor into the system and check for leaks, get some logs over to Derek, and get a date to head back into PA.

for now, enjoy this little edit I made last night
