I installed my stage 3 competition clutch kit on my 2017 si on Saturday. After driving for a bit I realized how hard it was to shift into the next gear so today I removed the clutch and found no issues with the way it was installed. It feels like the clutch is not fully disengaging to go into the next gear. Anyone else have this issue? I’ve tried adjusting my master cylinder and it didn’t make any difference

Do you have a pictures with the clutch disc mounted, but pressure plate off?

Also, did you use an upgraded CMC, or a Stainless Steel Clutch Line?

Have you contacted Competition Clutch about this? I'm curious as to what their thoughts would be.

I do not but the clutch is facing the right way, I removed the trans and double checked already. And I have a steal clutch line but not an upgraded cmc

Have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal? The clutch will be stiff during the first 500 miles but it gets softer

same here i'm using s3 cc too.
yes stiff at first now slowly getting better around 6-700 miles in.
no cmc yet. at low speeds it seems to be ok but after couple of times adjusting the clutch pedals it improved a little but it is still have high rpm lockouts above 6k rpm, below is ok.
i have SS clutch lines awaiting for new cmc kit to arrive. Slave delay valve removed too.
Will attempt to try to DIY mod the stock cmc.

I have their stage 2 with no shifting issues. I will say that my stock cmc couldn't handle the s2 so I went with the Wilwood cmc. All together it's stiff but breaks in some. Did you adjust the pedal any? Maybe you not getting enough stroke, lengthen the pedal rod some so the engagement/disengagement is higher but will give more push. Other than that I'd check the bleed.
