If ordering from Sprint:

P08 MSRP: 96,00 € + VAT ($109)
P037 MSRP: 192,00 € + VAT ($218)
P08 F1-85 MSRP: 288,00 € + VAT ($325)

VAT is 21%, shipping to Los Angeles was roughly $100 more. 3% charge for PayPal.

https://www.sprintfilter.net/automotive/products/19294/type-r

I found a dealer in the US that can get the filters for the msrp price and shipping $13 but they'll need to purchase 10-20 units.

Is anybody interested?

Just go with PRL, its cheaper. You can get their stage 1 kit for that cost. I think I got mine on Ebay for around $120.

Considered prl but not a fan of changing the stock air box. There are some sources that say many intakes perform worse than stock set up.

Common knowledge now, but sprint is used in many racing applications. For example, the TCR uses its ctech intake.

Just wanted to try them out. Heard nothing but good things. Except for the price but race car right?

Stage 1 just gives you the improved tube and filter.

It makes all most as much power as the $1500 Venturi .

I've seen that video many times.

Do you know what kind of filter they use? Are they oiled? How is it maintained?

Oiled cotton is what I read for the prl.

I'm sure it works great but sprint is non oil and just need compressed air to blow out the dust and can be used for the life time of the car. I think they're the only company that uses polyester tech in their filters.

I'm not sure what kind of smoothing is used on the dyno plot. It does have some odd spikes in the torque output in the 3-5k range.

Its just a filter. I’ll love to see those 10hp on a dyno here on the states using the factory calibration.
