you can also just replace the OEM shocks with an aftermarket set, maybe a set that's not adjustable, for much, much cheaper. Hell, some ground control with Koni shocks would be sweet...

There will be ways to trick the system into thinking all is good, within a year or two at the latest.

I think you would have to remove the actuators from the shock/strut body and position out of the way (or replace in a faux sleeve of the aftermarket damper). The KW cancellation unit may also be worth a try, though it may not be compatible from the FK2's ADS. But the design appears to be very similar between the two.

Generally speaking, adjustable damping only affects low speed piston movement. High speed damping should be very close between both modes. At least, that has been my experience with them.
