I wanted to start a thread for my audio upgrade progress. Try to answer any questions I can as well for everyone. I was not going to do any sound insulation but my Invidia Gemini R400 is LOUD. The music drowns it out at 15 but it's still something I wasn't expecting. My trunk floor at the very least will get the 80 mil AND 170 mil on top of it. I am not doing an aftermarket subwoofer or amp setup as of right now.

JL Audio C3-100ct front tweeters
JL Audio C3-650 front woofers DO NOT FIT
JL Audio C2-650 rear tweeters and woofers
JL Audio C2-350x front center
Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-8
Noico 80 mil sound deadener
Noico 170 mil insulation
American International HSB524 speaker adapters

The center speaker is easy as pie to replace. For some reason though my bezel now sits up about 1/16" in the one corner.

So far for the doors, I have the Noico 170 mil on the back of my driver rear door and one of the C2-650 tweeters in. I didn't know how Honda changed how they do their woofers with the bezel thing so I'm waiting on that currently. The door panel is finished though. The C2 tweeters are 3/4". They do not fit properly with the mounting hardware from JL Audio. I'm going to end up using silicone to hold it there to the factory bezel unless anyone can give a better idea. I am not going for full coverage obviously even though my OCD is screaming.

Update on the woofers, the Metra harnesses fit on the c2-650 but not the c3-650. The connectors are slightly too big on the speaker side. The speaker adapters are great so far no issues. You need to use the provided gold color screws not the Honda OEM ones, they don't fit. Yes, I know my screws don't match. Had to use what is sitting around. C#-650 DO NOT FIT. The magnet is too big.

for the center speaker, take it out once more and unscrew the speaker ever so slightly so you can give the flimsy plastic its form back, it shouldn't rattle, it'll still be snug enough especially if you added some foam tape around the speaker.

Awesome! This is the same route I plan to take for sound deadening- I had picked out the same Noico 80 mil deadener. Do you mind sharing the 170 mil insulation you purchased? Can't seem to find it, other than the "green" stuff.
