Sport/sport touring stock side skirts.

There are 4 security type screws on the bottom of the side skirt. The hex almost looks like a triangle. It is possible to move them using a t15 torx. But I can’t remove them. The screw turns but doesn’t fall out.

I will just be cutting the little extension flap off.

Those are rivets that hold the air deflector onto the side skirts. You can drill them out. Just curious.......why do you want to remove the air deflectors?

I've been wanting to remove the side skirt from my '18 sport hatchback. Have you removed your's? Any advice is appreciated.. thanks.

Drill out the 4 rivet security screws. 4 plastic clips thru the entire length of the side skirt. And the 3 screws in the front (by where the splash guard would be).

Basically all Honda’s have the same type of side skirt mount. You can google the PDF of the HRV side skirt install or the puddle light for the 2017+civic. There are pictures in those PDFs.

I ended up NOT drilling out the rivers. I cut the plastic flap to accommodate the side skirt.

Most aftermarket side skirts make a cutout so that they can be mounted without having anything in its way. What side skirts are you putting on yours?
