What's different between an ex hatch and a sport hatch?

The floor of the trunk in the Type R and Sport is shallow. Leaving room underneath for the center exhaust.
The EX floor drops lower and doesn’t leave room for mufflers down the middle. You can still run center exit exhaust tips by routing around, but not the mufflers in the middle

That explains why EX hatch are so limited on exhaust. Thanks

I've heard the borla is on the quieter side, and videos don't show it being much louder than stock, even though it sounds better.

Definitely louder than stock forsure lol.

I have a 2019 sport hatch and it’s definitely louder than stock, granted I do have a PRL street catted Downpipe but still pretty loud regardless.

Any sounds clipped with the catted downpipe? I was running a catless DP with my borla and it sounded awful lol. Figured a catted DP would sound much better.

if you're planning on downpipe upgrades the quietest cat back will be the magnaflow, greddy and borla would probably be next. That's my 3 choices when I do upgrade anyways.
