I’m trying to figure out the best temporary solution for covering spoiler holes? I’ve seen multiple ways but not really any that is temporary fix. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Go to Michaels art supplies/ or a hobby store and grab a sheet of vinyl overlay sticker cut to fit area. Clean he surface really good before applying. Had to do the same thing for my wing riser kit on my olf FoST.

Vinyl wrap your deck lid. Won't be perfect, but maybe good enough.

I just taped mine off for a week before my permanent solution. I removed the spoiler to wrap the trunk lid. What's your end goal?

Well for me to get the coupe Si spoiler I need to buy the guy the plugs for it. He’s got an idea of having a buddy custom make a new one

Fill the hole with silicone. Let it dry and cut it flush with your deck lid. Then vinyl wrap it. You would never know

I had a PDR guy flatten the 10 holes from the spoiler. I lasered 10 0.750” circles form engraving stock with 3m adhesive backing to seal the holes from the bottom side. Then I bondoed and wet sanded them from the top and vinyl wraped. There's just 2 of 10 holes you can barely see under the wrap at just the right angle.

I lasered circles from engraving stock with 3m gold tape backing to seal the holes from the bottom side. Then I bondoed and wet sanded them on top and vinyl wrapped the trunk. If you want I can cut you a couple sets (20) for $10 shipped.

Sounds good but I’m a bit nervous starting to mess with bondo lol and doing bodywork myself. Might just go to body shop. When you wrapped your trunk did it match the color of your car?

Filling the holes with Bondo is super easy. Then use a block to wet sand it smooth. I wrapped it in 3m stealth which is all the same shade of black but the direction of pattern makes a 3d camo effect that changes as you look at it from different angles.

they have vinyl ones on Amazon
That will seal it but look like straight shit for a permanent solution. Sealing it off from the bottom side with circles of engraving stock (or I could have used .062 aluminum or stainless) then Bondo and wet sand will make it flush. Even the most tiny dent will show under vynal wrap; you could see those gaping holes from probably 15 foot away no exaggeration.

Car looks good! You wrapped it yourself? I got quoted 250 to paint fill holes and paint new spoiler. Still debating to do it myself.. lol
