I have a 2017 civic and hate the look of the front bumper. I'm looking to swap with an 2017+ SI/hatchback style bumper and the 2020 fog light bezels for a more aggressive look. All together it would cost around $500-$600. Looking for anyone selling a bumper cover with a paint code NH788P.

IMHO, you bumper is certainly preferable to the 2019+ models with that closed off bottom edge.

Have you considered just adding an aggressive carbon lip ?

You might then be able to move that over to another bumper if you still felt it necessary...

You could certainly look at companies like American Modified, or Primitive Performance (and many others) that offer a more aggressive bumper. That costs more than the figures you quoted, but maybe you were just costing the paintjob?

Update for bumper swap.
Found a really nice guy selling a bumper from a 2020 si for 250. It’s red with minimal paint scuffing on the left side (which wouldn’t matter as I’d get it paint matched). I lived an 2 hours away. I took my lady to go get it and dude was so entertained by what I was doing with it he gave it to me for free and took us out to eat at the local Big Boy diner. It didn’t come with any trim, just the bumper mold. Still debating if I should go with current style with the fancy lip or newer style all together . Still around 300 for a paint job and 100 for garnishes. Personally I gave up hope and told myself that a swap isn’t financially a good decision. Especially now after I could potentially flip the new bumper and get an fancylip for the older style. However that new si look is really aggressive in comparison. What is the public opinion?

The original bumper on the sport is ugly af to me so I upgraded to the Si bumper. And there’s a red bumper spoiler factory accessory from honda that works only for Si/hatch.

I don’t completely hate mine. I really love the smaller fog light grille. However, it’s missing a sharpness I want. With how rounded the front bumper is it really gives off mom car look. Especially from the side.

I’ve seen multiple front lower grilles that are one piece and two piece designs. what type does your car use?

I used Si bumper since the under shield is different between 4d and 5d. The 5d that has the black lip sticking out, the lower grille doesn’t include the plastic that goes out under the fog light covers so 2 pieces

now this has got me thinking of picking up a 2020 si bumper for my 16 ex-t. I already got a black grille but I want those garnishes and bigger vents at the fog lights. My bumper is basically totaled from all the rock chips and a gash on it from before I bought it.

Good luck finding cheap parts. The two piece grille is like 200 all together 100 for fog light bezels and 300 bumper. I’m using Facebook to find broken cars for parts but it is so hard to find anything. I tried eBay but it’s filled with Chinese crap that is marked up to oem price.

Hondapartsnow, or other warehouse sites like that are your best bet. the grille will be a challenge, but if you have a sport you already have the right grille (no si badge)

I bought my grille from procivic and its alright, doesn't fit amazing but its fine.

300 for the bumper cover and 100 for bezels isn't bad, might be able to order that bumper through my local body shop that fixed my car when I was rear ended.

Yeah I think it was like 500 all together and to get it painted, I had him do the nose of the bumper black, so two tone.
