So this guy was in the shop a while back. He's made a few... interesting decisions. He bought new speakers, an amp and a subwoofer/cabinet setup. Not what I would do for this platform, but clearly he does not take advice well.

What would you recommend for this "platform? (Not sarcastic)

I'm ok with the red emblems and red H wheel center caps

So what audio advice would you give for this car?
Depends what you are going for. The stock mids and highs are decent, with little to no low end. Without getting to into it, you could probably run a decent amp with a single 10, and get most of the low end you want. If you want more mid to high, I would replace front and rear speakers with components and coax's. Then run speaker level inputs to a LOC, and a quality 4 channel, and then back out to the speakers. It is more labor, but you keep the factory infotainment unit that way.

We may think it's horrid, but the truth is that it's his car and he can do with it what he likes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.

I'm all for the "it's his car he can do what he wants comment" but come on, this is why everyone judges the good Hondas and real enthusiasts and puts them in the same bag as idiots. I can only hope he was 16, at least then it's just a phase that he will hopefully grow out of.

Agreed. And additionally, people do shit to their car so people will notice it. This person is asking to be judged.

The people defending him, sure, whatever...it doesn't change the fact that he's obviously a douche.
