I just compared the sedan speaker part diagrams for 2016 and 2016 and the part numbers are exactly the same...
Maybe that was a lower end trim. Honda already confirmed that the Touring will come with a 12 speaker system so there must be a difference.

First of all, lower end trims don't even suffer the sub woofer rattle to begin with. Second, are we talking about the hatch or the sedan? Because the sedan is keeping the 10 speaker system and the hatch has the subwoofer enclosed in the sidewall so it's not like it can fundamentally suffer a rattle because it's not mounted on an open, uninsulated deck

Yea, they said that the Hatch Touring will come with a new 12 speaker system. We haven't heard anything about the 2017 sedan/coupe yet or if they'll get any tweaks/upgrades other than hopefully honda fixing the rattle with the sub and fixing the 3rd brake light cover on the coupe.

That said, it would be nice to possibly see some trickle down when the mid model refresh comes along. Make the 12 speaker system from the hatch standard on touring coupe/sedan. Trickle the 10 speaker system down to EXT/EXL on sedan (already standard on coupe) and then throw the 6 speaker system into the base models (instead of that weak 4 speaker setup).

Seriously considering the 2017 hatch as my next car. Does anyone know if the Sport model has push start? I know the 2016 Accord does not and was curious if they added this feature on the 2017 Civic Hatch model. Also has Honda provided any links to compare US trims?

The base sport does not have the push button start. It is essentially just an LX with more power and cosmetic changes.

Any idea what the Sports and Sport Touring will cost? Hoping to order one soon!
Just got some pricing for the 17 Hatchbacks. The prices are plus $835.00 freight charge and are suggested retail prices.
LX 6-speed manual $19700.00
LX CVT $20500.00
Sport 6-speed manual $21300.00
Sport CVT $22100.00
EX CVT $22800.00
EX-L with Navi CVT $25300.00
Again these are plus $835.00 freight.
Don't have pricing yet on the Sport Touring or the models with Honda sensing. Hope this helps.

Do you know if the sport touring will be available this fall? Someone posted the trim levels details and it says the sport touring model won't be available til early 2017 :(

It says right in the brochure "Spring 2017" (or early 2017, something like that.)

Sounds like not until early 2017 on the Honda sensing or the Sport Touring.

The front and rear bar you can forgive but wtf is that exhaust? Ruins it completely.

Whoa! Never seen the trunk open on a coupe. That really opens up out of the way!
