Guys I just want to share this. It has been two weeks since I felt paranoid after replacing my stock rims w 18in.
Thought it had something to do with how the installation went so I brought my car back to the shop where I had my rims installed. We were able to replicate the tingling metal sound and thought it came from the left front wheel. Everything was tightened though, so we suspected the splash guard/engine protection underneath. We found stones but when we test drove the car, the sound was still there. We had to listen again and suspected the rear tire instead. We disassembled the disc brake bec we thought it was yet indeed another pebble, again we failed. We removed the tire and there, the sound was coming from inside the wheels and rims. We removed the tires and found something, it was the stainless metal washer from the tire valve. It got loose and fell in between the rims and tires. Damn.
