This doesn't seem right. The nut just spins and spins. The biggest PITA spring install I've ever done.

Solved: requires a lot of top pressure to get the nut to spin. Didnt even get one installed.

Or the other way which I have done for years. Only difference is, I place the strut a cpl inches away from my wood bench, place my foot on the spring, and let her rip.
Fast forward to 40 sec in vid. This guys compressor and/or impact sucks...but you get the idea. The strut work probably travel 2 feet even if you didn’t put something in front of it. It loses energy fast.
