Peace,

Just sold the TYPE R and this piece I loved second best after the engine! I used this only once on track and drove the car only 1500 miles with it on. If you read the other threads on this forum e.g. Lust's Fk8 builds around page 15-25+ you will see the overheating issues that people start having when tuning the type R. You will also see read in that thread how adding THIS radiator and some louvers completely eliminates the overheating issues for another driver, and I am glad to report it did for me as well!

My test bed? Florida autumn weather about 83 degrees and the temp on my coolant did not rise by even ONE degree from normal operating temperature on my entire track day. I also DID not notice any abnormal rise in temperatures in city driving.

This rad takes about 2 months lead time to manufacture. I recently bought it for about $1300. Now that I have sold the Type R(tear), am asking $1175 plus shipping for it and willing to negotiate. Thanks!
