I recently traded in my CW '19 for a CBP '21 which is due to arrive the first week of August. A little while afterwards, I found a '21 at MSRP which was in the color I preferred, which I'd like to find a way to purchase instead if possible.

I'm posting to see if anyone has interest in purchasing the CBP '21 from me at $43k ($2k under the $45k I was charged in the trade-in, and the amount I would need to break even on purchasing the MSRP model I found). If so, I could sell the car to you the day it arrives, and you could just take possession of it from me directly at the dealership so it would essentially be brand new for you.

I obviously don't have any pictures to post since the car is still in transit and hasn't arrived yet. If anyone is interested in purchasing, it would essentially just be a handshake agreement we would complete when the car arrives.

Since you haven't taken delivery of the car, why not tell them to suck it at that price and just go buy the one at MSRP without complicating your life?

What color is the one you’re getting for MARP and where? I am also interested but will only buy at MSRP. Thank you.

Is that an option? I've signed all the paperwork, paid for the new car, and given them my old one. I also did put down a nonrefundable $500 deposit, so even if they did reverse the transaction, I wouldn't see that money back AFAIK.

Feels like you would lose the $500 but not much more - as for signed paperwork not sure what all you signed - if it was the full financials for the 21 then yeah you're kinda stuck there.

Is the other car you now want to buy still available? Did the dealer you traded your car with sell your 2019?

No, I placed a deposit on the other car since I'm reasonably certain I'll be able to get 43k in the current market. And I'm not sure if they've sold my trade-in yet.
