Hello Type R community! Although this is my first post(I'm a Rennlist/Porsche guy), I've perused these forums a number of times and I'm posting this ad to help my old man out. I listed this for him on Cars.com and Facebook Marketplace for $47k, but we would prefer to sell to an enthusiast, and as such here I'm listing it for $45k. KBB has it from $42,771-45,578, and I think with the PPF and OEM Carbon it's a solid deal for a clean, low-stressed vehicle.
This is in good shape, never been tracked, never been autocrossed, and has had a remarkably easy life. It was purchased new from Bianchi Honda, in Erie Pennsylvania and has been driven 90% as a daily by my 65 year old father in SoCal with the occasional canyon drive, cars & coffee and a couple road trips. And whenever it was driven spiritedly, we're hardcore believers in giving the engine and transmission time to warm up. All that to say it's been driven with a lot of mechanical sympathy.
So what's wrong with it? Two things to note, on its second drive, it got a small dig on the passenger door. He opted to get this touched up rather than paint the whole door. Additionally there's a small tear in the mesh grille from a piece of tire that was unfortunately unavoidable. Honestly both are hardly noticeable, I don't even think I would see them unless someone pointed them out, but figured I would mention for the sake of honesty and will include pictures. Tires have low miles on them, and rear brake pads were recently replaced. Under warranty until March 2024
2021 FK8 Type R Boost Blue
Mileage 26,700
Michelin PS4S Tires
Honda OEM Carbon Hood Scoop ($895)
Honda OEM Carbon Wing ($1280)
Honda OEM Carbon Mirrors ($519)
Honda OEM Carbon Interior Panel Set ($795)
It has PPF on the front bumper, front fenders and hood, and is ceramic coated. This was done by Ceramic Pro in Burbank ($3500)
Feel free to reach out and come see it. His name is Harry and you can text or call at 2054271650.
