Doesn't bore and stroke and piston speed account for burn rate, not just overall displacement of each cylinder?

The fk8 2.0t motor is struggle to stay cool on track while the 1.5t has no problem. I believe this is because of rad capacity and overall cooling capacity, not displacement. The 500cc per cylinder fk8 motor is definitely running hotter than the 375cc 1.5t, not the other way around.
