Drove a manual Stage2 mk6 GTI before getting into a 2020 Type R few months back. While it was slower than my stock Type R, I absolutely loved the GTI! Would love to own a Cayman GT4 at some point, or a Miata if I can't afford one ;)

Was following your car-search on Instagram. What made you go with the ZL1 from a GTR and GT500? ;) You said it right, it is a track monster! ?

Mainly the price, The GT500 is marked up $25k-$30k everywhere and none of the dealers want to negotiate. I still want the GTR but because this was half the price I wanted to try it for a year or so and then get a GTR

Woah! That is beautiful. I always wanted to buy a muscle car at some point, but so stuck on imports that I never got around to it yet. I always wanted a old school Camaro.

As for other cars I like other then my Type R, I really enjoyed my STI that I imported from Japan a few years ago. It is very comparable to the CTR power wise, I sold it last year unfortunately. Had a fully built motor from Lachute Performance.

Trust me I didn't want to but RHD insurance sky rocketed here in my province. Wasn't worth keeping. I can always import another in the future if it goes back to normal.

I was looking at a Mustang GT350 and the Camaro ZL1. The ZL1 has torque everywhere and is crazy fast. The GT350 engine sounds absolutely amazing, but needs to be revved out.

Monster is the right term for sure.

Very interested in hearing your thought between the two once you get a chance to track it.

Yeah.. just read the thread.. price is definitely a concern for the GTR.. but a chevy??? Idk man.. I guess it's good for a short term investment. So, I understand.

One of these beasts in stock form won a Time Attack event at local track just recently, beating out modded Porsches (including a GT3) and Vettes. Car is amazing - congrats!

Don’t matter. This is an amazing car. Hard to find a car with this level of performance for $70k.

The GTR is a computer on wheels. Will be bored after 6 months of ownership.

I didn't ever want to be bored so this is what I got. It is scary fast. Just getting used to it. Had it at Lime Rock once for an intro class. Totally streetable with a turbo Honda 2.4L i-VTEC (K24Z7) 365 HP and only 1450 lbs. Do the math and compare to any other car. Love it.
