Does anyone know when sanctioning bodies will require the SA2020 helmets? I believe they begin shipping October 1st.

I have an SA2010 and curious when my helmet will no longer be accepted.

Wow, they let you run it that long? Okay good to know. I'll wait for more 2020 models to come out before pulling the trigger on a new one. Thanks!

It's interesting because over the years I have found mixed information. Expiration date 12 years later vs recommendations at 5 and 10 years. I too have a Snell 2010, however I will replace mine sooner and moving into SA2020 for the 2021 season.

Off topic: I fell off my road bike last month and the helmet literally saved my life. Although I'm still not getting a roll bar for the Civic (way more street than track), it changed my outlook on safety equipment.
