Smoked side markers

Hello everyone I just picked up a black 2020 CTR and am looking for opinions on what side markers are best. I’ve been perusing the forums and searching online but reviews are all over the place on fitment and condensation. What’s the best way to go for smoked side markers that aren’t switchbacks? Thanks for all the help!!

What do you mean by switchbacks? You mean with turn signals?

I went with the suma performance smoked. Fitment is near perfect, install was super easy and product is top notch quality.

Ok so the black is with the lights off and the hyper white LED is when the head lights turn on. I also have the turn signal option but didnt take a picture as you mentioned not interested.

That looks great! I’m a little hesitant since I live in PA and only amber lights are legal on the sides. I wish they offered amber DRL....

I bought these a few weeks ago and installed them. They give you a dark, smoked finish but they illuminate amber when the car is on. It has rained several times and no leaks

Amber reflectors is a federal regulation, so you're not going to do better by looking in other states.

You're also going to have a hard time because the thing everyone (including me) is looking for is getting rid of the amber housing. I don't know of a single aftermarket option off the top of my head that retains the amber housing and offers a switchback. Your best bet might be a universal splice-in light controller that turns any socket into a switchback, and getting a two stage LED for the OEM amber housing. But even then,, I'm not sure that would look good...

Sorry I think maybe I wasn’t clear ? I’m looking for smoked housing with amber lights no switchback. I know the housing is a regulation but I’m more concerned about the light color.

The T10 bulbs that come with them are probably shit. I rocked the cheap white t10 LED that came in it, then changed to nice white t10 LED, then I changed to amber, now I'm running red FTW. Name brand t10 leds are about $10/10 pack

So I've been hunting for some sidemarkers. So is it true that the basic Civic ones won't work with ours? Or we need some modification to make it work?

I just had the company that did my hood wrap add smoke color wrap over the amber side markers..

The internet says they're supposed to fit everything. I have smoked from eBay on si. My friend has clear on his si and tried to swap over on ctr but said fittment wasn't perfect. They look so damn similar though.

Anyone have any links to a good pair of side markers for the Civic Ex model? Preferably smoked/tinted ones. Don’t want the clear ones. Thanks!
