Skunk2 Springs Install / Afraid of ripping CV Boot. Any advice?

I just bought my Skunk2 springs and I just found out about people ripping / tearing their cv boots (axles) and I’m worried about that happening to me. I’m pretty experienced with lowering cars but finding out that its fairly common to rip your cv boot with these cars, I’m getting kinda nervous to mess it up. Any advice on how to install the springs without removing the whole axle from the hub?

Last CV I changed the boot was just held on by metal clips could you just not remove one side and move the boot out of your way? Reattach when done.

i laid a rubber floor mat over the lower control arm. that's where the boot gets torn. there's a sharp edge on the lca.
