Hello,

I ordered the SUMA mirrors from Unity Performance. I got the driver side installed no problem. The passenger side will not move when I try to adjust it. The motor is working fine and the plastic “pins” are in the holes.

Has anyone had this problem? Can I order an extra of the white bracket that goes on the back? Maybe I need that. Nothing broke, but I can’t figure out why it doesn’t move.

Pull the mirror and move the button WITHOUT the mirror installed to see if the pins move. If they move, you are not aligning it properly. If they don’t, the motor is dead.

Make sure the rubber boot is seated correctly around the actuator pins.

If I remember correctly there's also a round metal spring that may have fallen off the female side
(housing side).

Oof, that's probably my problem. One of the rubber housing on the pins tore. I didn't think that would be detrimental. Any idea how I can get a new one? Thank you.

^ this. The metal ring looks like a small key ring. If they fell off, there is no tension on the rods. The metal ring would be under the boot in the actuator, and it goes around the "claw" looking thing.

Okay, I'm assuming that is gone then. Between one of the rubber boots being slightly torn and the ring possibly missing - how do I go about fixing this? Thank you guys!

The boot being torn isn't there biggest issue. It just needed to be seated correctly so the actuator pin doesn't bind when it spins in and out. I would look hard for the ring on the ground. Otherwise you will need to order a new actuator because the metal ring isn't sold separately.

Hard to see, but there is the metal ring at 9 o'clock. There is also one at 6 o'clock under the boot.

Possibly a small rubber O ring would work. Also carefully check the housing, found mine stuck to the side covered in the white grease.
