Ouch! Is that paint transfer or did a chunk rip off? If paint transfer I would try some rubbing compound or something like Scratch X. I had a scrap for someone hitting me in that same area and I got most of it off and you can't even tell.

If paint was taken off I would use something like touch up or Dr. Color Chip like recommended above.

That looks like you removed the paint. You can most likely have that repaired pretty easy by a shop for not much money since it is an easy panel to repair/paint all by itself. Dr. Colorchip works good for smaller areas, but that is a fairly large flaw to use it for. If you want it to look nice I would either have it repainted or wrap it like someone else mentioned.

Just buy a mirror cap and replace it. Its honestly not that hard. Most of the time the cap can be pulled off with your hands.

paint looks completely removed. I wouldn't use a Dr Color Chip for something of that surface area.

on the plus side, seems like you can just replace that painted section

That's surprisingly cheap. Nice find.

This happened to me yesterday - albeit not as severe. For the paint transfer, I used a clay bar to get all of the white paint off. Then I used Scratch X and Ultimate Compound to get rid of the scratches. I finished off with a touch-up pen.

Alright, so the paint on my side mirrors is chipping. To fix it, I think my options are:
My option 1 is replace the cover, option 2 is to repaint it, so:
  • Does anybody happen to have a link to a site selling NH877P-color side mirror covers?
  • If anybody repainted their side-mirrors, what did you do and use? (& if you fucked it up, then what shouldn't I do?)

I know this thread hasn't been active in a bit, but I figured y'all were already talking about paint and side mirrors.
