side fender vents

has anybody painted , wrapped, or replaced the non painted black vents on the fender?
i have the agean blue and the dull color of those stand out to me as a bit cheap looking

Can the fender vents be removed without removing the fenders? If yes, how?

I've never done it but read you can go thru the fender liner to remove them. No fender removal required as I understand it.
