Si Coupe with Sport Wheels?

I want to put the darker Sport wheels on a white Coupe.

I thought Si and Sport hatch are exact same wheels just a different finish?

Someone here mentioned that the SI brakes have clearance issues with non SI wheels.

For my SI Coupe, I downsized my wheels to 17-inch Enkei wheels. No problem at all.

I went to one dealership and they were concerned about brake clearances. According to their computer, there was no downsize path for a SI. I went to another dealership and they ordered and installed the wheels for me.

This was posted by @Pchilnsf415 in another thread. They are not white and are not coupes, but it may help you visualize a bit.

I put the Sport hatchback wheels on my car. Same wheels as the SI just smoked. That’s my car next to a SI.

Not a coupe either, and not white, but swapped the sport wheels onto mine also.
