My FK7's name is Kenobi. I would love this with the Jedi symbol. Holy crap!
If you're interested, I can make you a 3D model for it, and you can have it printed through an online 3D printing service.

My 3D printed emblems are almost done!! Just need to finish the color coats and clear coat them. In the meantime, I'm trying to decide which backplate I like better. Most of my friends like the flat one more, but it feels off without the bezel. Then again, the other one looks like it has 2 bezels due to the outer ring on the grille itself, which also looks a bit wierd.

What do you guys think? Note that this is just a mockup, which is why there's a gap in the one picture. When installed, the emblem will sit flush with the backplate.

I like the first picture more.

Can I ask for everyone's opinion on plastidip emblems? I have the rallye red civic sport sedan so I don't really want to do the red on red badge in the rear and don't like chrome.

I plastidipped mine. I’m quite happy with the results. I did the front badge, rear badge, and “civic” lettering. I also plastidipped the front Crome pieces too. I would definitely do again

Of course I don’t have any close up ones. I’m away for work, so I can’t take a pic now. But I’ll be home Friday.

Did you plastidip the front emblem while it was attached to the front grill? I've been wanting to plastidip my emblems but I can't come up with a good way to do it without taking them off, and to take them off you either have to destroy them or take stuff apart to reach the clips from behind which might not be worth the effort.

I did different things for each. For the front, I slid a piece of paper in behind it. Literally just kept sliding different sized pieces of thick paper to mask off. Then after done painting, I ever so carefully slid them out. I used a scalpel knife to cut the paint off the edge of the paper and the emblem. If I knew people would be interested in this, I would have taken pics of the process.

The rear emblem I removed. I honestly should have used my paper trick. MUCH faster.

Wow that's a really smart idea. I'll try it in a week or so after I get back from my upcoming road trip. I'll try to take pics and credit you for this method.

Where did you get the upper grill? I really like the look. I hate that the Si badge is part of the molded plastic grill on my 2020 Sedan.
