Thank you! I think i really have to mod my fenders.

Did that eliminate your rubbing issues even with 4 passengers?

Slight rubbing going over big dips, but besides that I'm good

D2 springs drops the vehicle by 2"+ right? And pro kit does .7" front and 1" rear?

don't you rub even with loaded passenger? Cuz i sometimes i have 4 passengers w/ me.
Honestly I’ve never rubbed even in the harshes of bumps I’ve had 4 people in the car no problem

What model is your civic? Some said that 2019 models dont have fender tabs to modify because they dont exist in your models. But for 2016-2018 they do have.

Their tires aren't as wide or tall and have stretch

Hi, my current set up is 18x9.5 et35 on a 245/40/18. I'm thinking of getting a lowering spring like eibach pro kit or tein s-tech.

the question is, would i need to modify my fender if i lower my car so that i wont rub?

My only recommendation is to keep your stock springs in the event the stiffer ride doesn't suit you. Also, be prepared to maybe have the alignment redone to compensate for the change in suspension geometry.

Also FYI if you decide to go with D2 lowering springs you will 100% need rear camber arms
I'll be installing an eibach pro kit, went for a conservative drop since the roads in my country sucks. D2's drop 2" right?

Will 100% keep my stock spring and will do alignment once installed. Thank you for the reminder! Cheers!

I'm sure there's more than one person that will say to check out fitment industries galleries to see if others running your desired setup are rubbing.
I reached out to a local wheel dealer and they directed me to that site. Surprisingly, no one had experience with the CTR platform at the time.

If your asking on the forum...

Just lower it...

prokit - if you want to run aggressive off set or 19s. Very mild drop, not worth it if you are not going to change your wheels or drive aggressive. ~1

sportline - tasteful drop, looks good with OEM or aftermarket. You will not rub, you will scrape on the front. I personally have this and it’s a happy medium. You get looked at but you don’t stress about bumps but some scrapes you do. ~ 1.5

d2 - looks cheap with oem offset, ride quality is not good. You’ll want to have a nice offset to compliment this drop, looks most aggressive without having to go coils. My best friend has d2 his highway driving is sacrificed for such a pretty drop. ~2

100% get an alignment and camber arms for the last two options...

Factor camber arms and alignments into the price as well.
